After 17 years, the location that used to be Osteria Nonni, at 3219 Glendale Boulevard, has a new Italian restaurant in it's place named Canelé. And lucky for us, they kept the Nonni Aglio Olio on the menu (one of our staff favorites)—if only for a short while.
Canelé offers up specialty creations by Cornina, formerly of Lucques, and just opened September 15th. Already a steady stream of customers and good reviews from all. The staff is hustling hard to get situated and comfortable in their new space, so if any kinks do come up during your next visit, please be patient with them!
