Have you seen the portrait of the blue-eyed woman on the banks of the river? Who painted her, and who she is supposed to be, is an intriguing mystery. She seems to have the Krumping style of face-painting. We can't help but wonder if she is there to mark a particular Krump zone or if the artist just chose the location for the prime exposure? She is painted on the embankment just North of the new Acresite gate entrance to the river.

We support art in our community. And something like this (even though a lot of people will not care for that particular style of art) is appreciated over the lame graffiti and stupid "tags" usually seen littering our river banks. It at least this art shows creativity and style.
Whatever the reason is for her existence, she may be in jeopardy of being tagged over or worse... she may get painted out by the Army Corps of Engineers.
If you have any information about her, please contact us so we can keep our readers updated on this story.
Thanks to Barry Shapiro for giving us the heads up about the story and for providing the photo!
